A fresh and frenzied drop from Pretty Weird Records, as they release the Scuzzy EP from Tennessee-based producer, Nikki Nair. The maniacal laughter in the title track’s opening bars helps to set the mood for what follows, as Nikki unleashes an intricately layered bombardment of pounding drums, pulsating basslines and old movie samples. On the flipside, we have The Analyst, which opens up with an intro akin to something you’d hear being bumped at an 80’s Bronx block party, before erupting into a healthy dose of electro-inspired synth-laced joy.
